Some people dont sail with a flag , but I couldnt amnge without it. Dont buy anything expensive as they dont do well stuck in the mud! Life can be prolonged with judicious use of sail repair tape. Anothe rgood mod is to run teh mainsheet under the boom. Ask your local sailmaker for an off cut of mylar about 4' x 8" , attach under boom with self tappers & poprivets. Class rules state must be 75% supported, anyway you dont want to hang yourself gybing Tweet |
